The frame

Whenever I’m presented with the opportunity to shoot a Porsche GT model, I know it’s going to be fun. These cars are just so special and even in an unassuming color like this Chalk grey, the GT3RS has so much raw aggression baked into it. I’m so happy for my friend who picked this up in early 2022 and honored that he asked me to shoot the reveal photos of it.

Point of view

No studios, no rigs, no composites. If the road, the weather and the car were not there at the same time, the frame does not exist.

Cars

Cars are most interesting when they belong to a place. Used, parked, driven, worked on. The photograph should show something of that life, not separate the car from it.

What I look for

Surface, weather, and someone in a hurry. A frame has to describe a place as precisely as it describes a car.

Why thirty

Thirty is the number I can print, check, sign and account for personally. Past that, a print becomes a poster.
